Rex's Latest Projects

Well, I am working on a family tree and so far I have dated things back to 1889. All of my relatives can be traced to 1889.....the late 1890's was when they immigrated over to New England. Half (from my dad's side) came from Finland and half came from Italy (my mom's sided). Found some interesting facts and going to go to Rockport town Hall to get more......This is a very in depth project.... Figuring out how she will pay for a doctoral degree has also been on Rex's mind. She REALLY wants to… Continue

Politics and the White Chalk Crime....

I was appalled to hear that Obama would consider Joel Klein, an expert at White Chalk Crime, to be Secretary of Education. The following was posted at Huffington Post today, which expresses my opinion. I will paste in the excerpts about Joel Klein below as well as attach it as a download. We must get President Elect Obama to read my book, White Chalk Crime: The REAL Reason Schools Fail. Although it details nationwide wrongdoing in education, Joel Klein has 17 pages about him! So you won't hav… Continue

Mission of CWG

MISSION OF CWG Delete Discussion Hello members! Welcome to CWG! I have decided to create a site based on Ning for a variety of reasons. I'd like to explain those reasons here. You can also get a feel for my own thoughts/feelings in regards to online networks...everything from youtube to chat to e-mails....the entire WORLD WIDE WEB. After being a member of another site last year, I realized that I had many viewpoints on issues and others weren't so open to those ideas. I had very little,… Continue

Chronicles of Running

Chronicles of Running Sunday July 27, 2008 Today I went for a run...ah...I miss the sport and although I have been running/walking here and there, it has not been consistent. Perhaps it has been my diet as of late, but for a few minutes into the run, I felt like a chain smoker....as I couldn't stop breathing super hard. But all turned out OK....and I am pretty positive I passed the 5K mark between going there and back. When I started off my run there was a guy in a car who stopped (actually..h… Continue

How do you pick college football’s national champ?

Florida versus Florida St. Michigan against Ohio St. Bears against Cardinal. These are some of the greatest rivalries in college football. And while it’s easy to see who’s won the individual games, fans must rely on the mysteries of the BCS rankings to find out which team has been named the national champion. For example, last [...]

Hannah Montana) has teamed up with Youth Service America to launch Get Ur Good On, a Ning Network [...]
